You see a barkeeper.

"Hail, friend and welcome to the Flying Trout.
 Can I get you anything?"

"In these parts it is not so uncommon to see a trout fly
though the air. The lakes nearby are home to fish-hawks
that dive for fish and seize them in their talons.

They do fly back to their nests holding the fish to
devour it on the spot or feed them to their hawklings.

 Trout is their favourite fish."

"Some call them ospreys. They are brown and white with
the bigness of a buzzard, and they eat fish.

As for their allegiance in the great battle of creation,
 of that we are uncertain.

Some say that they do bring good luck, but I am not so
sure.. Han the tailor says that there is a large
fish-hawk that perches by his house every day and
 watches him always.

I wonder that it may be they are spies of the LORD.. or
 maybe even The Adversary!"

"Mean you Ross the Bewildered? He was sent to rescue a
fair maiden from the clutches of an evil wyrm.
Many men have gone to face the beast, and none have ever
 returned.

But the man is a fool and anything is possible. Why, he
has probably slain the maid and rescued the dragon!"

"The dragon has not been seen much since Ross the
Bewildered was sent to slay it. But Ross has not been
 seen much either.

Some say that he has injured the beast but then died of
a mortal wound in the attempt. Others say that the Wyrm
has merely eaten him and is sleeping it away.

But I have heard that Ross made a satanic pact with the
 dragon and serves it!"

"The Church says that the Holy Ghost may appear as a bird
and as a hawk or an eagle, when the deed be fierce.

It maybe that the osprey visiting me is of the Trinity!"

"Noris the butcher told me that a cloaked stranger bought
from him three whole piglets. But he also says that the
man's hood dropped for a second, he swears it was Ross!

True or not, the man was last seen heading toward the
castle, with the piglets and some fruit.."

"A hooded stranger has been seen buying large amounts
of meat. We think he may be a servant of the Dragon!

Also, there have been many fish-hawks near the village.
Some say they bring good luck, but I am not so sure..
Han the tailor says that there is a large fish-hawk that
perches by his house every day and watches him always.

I wonder that it may be they are spies of the LORD.. or
 maybe even The Adversary!"

"Mean you Ross the Bewildered? He was sent to rescue a
fair maiden from the clutches of an evil wyrm.

No man who has assailed the Wyrm has returned, yet there
are some who claim he is alive and in hiding.
Further I have heard it said that he betrayed the King's
trust by slaying the maiden and rescuing the dragon!

The man is a fool and I wouldn't put it past him."
