Klear was developed with C++, using the QT from Trolltech (Trolltech.com).

For playback we are using a flexible Multimedialayer with different Backendengines.
At the moment our KlearXine Engine is the most advanced system.
But Klear also comes with an initial mplayer-engine (not enabled default)

The zapping was adapted from the dvbutils zapping tools.
