Adding users is quite painless. As a minimum, you need to enter a username and
real name. Media Mate will prevent you saving a new user without these two
fields. The rest of the fields are optional, although entering details will
help you locate a borrower later.

Level One: If you are only adding a borrower, and don't want the user
to have the ability to log in, then assign them level one membership. There
is no requirement to enter a password for level one users.

Level Two: If you would like the user to be able to login and have the
ability to modify media locations (borrowing and reserving), then assign them
level two membership. You will need to enter a password for them, otherwise
they won't be able to login. A user cannot login with a blank password, it's a
security hazard!

Level Three: This is the SUPER USER. In addition to the rights of level
two, they will also be able to add and remove users, as well as all items in the
modules. Assign this level with care, as they will be able to remove YOUR login!
Level three users also require a password, without which they cannot login.

Jabber ID: Jabber is
an open Instant Messaging system. Entering your borrower's Jabber ID here (in
the form: user@server.com) will allow you to send them messages (such as overdue
notifications) from Media Mate. Thanks to Carlo Zottmann for his work on php/jabber
integration. This feature requires Internet Connected enabled in Global
Preferences, as well as valid entries in the Global Preferences Jabber fields.
