%%short-description: graphical VRML97 editor/animationtool

%%full-description: white_dune is a graphical editor, a simple NURBS
3D modeller and a animation tool
for the Virtual Reality Modelling Language
                    (VRML97: ISO/IEC 14772) in development.
VRML97 (Virtual Reality Modelling Language) is the ISO
standard for displaying 3D data over the web via
                    browserplugins.
It has support for animation, realtime interaction and
                    multimedia (image, movie, sound).

Dune can read VRML97 files, display and let the user
                    change the scenegraph/fields.

Dune has support for some of the VRML97 Amendment 1 style
NURBS Nodes and can load and store x3d (next generation
VRML xml format) files, if configured to work with the
                    nist.gov x3d translators

Under Unix/Linux white_dune has support for stereoscopic
view via "quadbuffer" capable stereo visuals.
