
Installing bclock
=================

1) Using xmkmf / imake

	1. Create a Makefile for your system

		xmkmf -a	(preferred method)
	   or
		xmkmf

	   or

		imake -DUseInstalled -I/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/config

		(substitute correct config directory, if necessary)

	2. Build bclock

		make

	3. Try it out

		./bclock

	4. Install bclock

		make install
		make install.man
	
	5. Getting some nice colors
	
		Add *customization: -color to your .Xdefaults file,
		in your home-directory, and restart X, or enter
		xrdb -merge ~/.Xdefaults and restart bclock.
		
		You can change the colors by editing Clock in your
		app-defaults directory.
		(/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/app-defaults on my Linux system)


2) If you don't have xmkmf or imake

	A Makefile is supplied, especially for you !

	You might have to edit it, because some directories
	are different on your system.

	1. Build bclock

		make

	2. Try it out

		./bclock

	3. Install bclock

		make install
		make install.man
