=== What is Gafix? ===
This is gafix, a GTK Editor for Casio Calculators. You can transmit and receive files from it 
and save them in *.cat format. So far 1/3 of all available commands are supported.



=== How to install Gafix? ===
You will need a C compiler, GTK development libraries, GTKSourceView development libraries,  
libcafix and automake to compile and install Gafix. If you have these packages installed 
you can just switch into the gafix directory and type:

make
sudo make install

to install Gafix into your System!



=== How to start Gafix? ===
After Installing Gafix will be in the Main-Menu of Gnome and/or KDE. You will find it in the 
menu Tools.



=== Will there be packages for easy installing? ===
There will be packages for Ubuntu Gutsy.


=== Why are only GNU/Linux Systems supported? ===
Well actually all UNIX-like operating systems should work well, but they will need a ttyS 
device. This is not the case for a couple of BSDs.



=== Releaseplan ===

0.5 - beta Release
Gafix is working already. You can save and load files and transmit and receive programs. 
Approximatly 1/3 of all commands are supported.

1.0 - stable Release
In this Release all commands for programs are planed to be supported.

2.0
For 2.0 support of pictures is planed. You will be able to receive Screenshots. These will 
be converted into bitmap files. Besides You can transmit and receive normal pictures from 
and send them to the calculator.
