Installation of xlc:

# ./configure
# make
# cp src/xlc <some-target-dir, probably /usr/local/bin>/
# xlc
# chmod go-rwx ~/.xlc.cfg

the last line is important if you decide to enable
password saving!

The config files will be in your homedirectory. xlc needs
/etc/passswd to figure it out. I don't know whether it
works with NIS (or whatever). The files are called
'.xlc.cfg' and '.xlc.ahup'.

That's all I can tell you... :)
